The construction of the greenhouse foundation must first be based on the type of greenhouse, and secondly on the local terrain and climatic conditions.

1、Normal single tunnel greenhouse: This kind of greenhouse generally uses a way of inserting one end of the arch directly into the ground about 30-50 cm to enhance the stability of the greenhouse structure.

2、Multi span greenhouse: This kind of greenhouse (film covering) generally uses a way of inserting one end of the main column into the ground about 80-120 cm, and pours with cement to reinforce the foundation. If the greenhouse will be covered by PC sheets or glasses, then all columns should be poured with cement to ensure that the greenhouse foundation is pretty sturdy. If the climate condition is very bad, like there will be storm or heavy snow, the depth of insertion into the soil should be deepened by 20-30cm.
